Settlement Conferences

Unlike Mediation, a Settlement Conference does not utilise a neutral third party to facilitate proceedings between two parties. A Settlement Conference is where the two parties, with their respective representation, meet in order to come to an agreement regarding a family law matter e.g. financial matters, property settlement and parenting issues. If both parties come to an agreement regarding their family law matter then formal documentation can be prepared.
